Responsibilities:
The engineers in these teams would require to test Jake and UNICMS content ingest systems, Do Partner Feeds Testing, Test the migration of partner feeds to the Content Agility (Harley/Pepper) system for all global news feeds. They are required to build frameworks for Automation suites, Write scripts for backend and Front-end automation . Innovation plays a major part in this team. Engineers with an out of the box thinking have an edge in particular.
Levels - Sr. QE ( IC2), Tech Lead (IC3), Principal Engineer (IC4)
Desired Skills/Experience:
- BS/MS or equivalent engineering degree.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Perl, Unix, XML (Desired)
- Experience in Production Web systems characterized by high-end performance, reliability, availability, scalability, security
- Exposure to Test Driven Development Internationalization, Localization Exposure.
- Aspects of technology you will work with include Java, Web Services, Performance Engineering, XML, Database design, etc.
- Good experience in a Unix environment
- Exposure to xslt and regular expressions
- 3 to 12 years (IC2 – 3 to 5 yrs; IC3 – 6 to 9 yrs; & IC4 – 9 to 12 yrs)
