Skills Required

Need to Have

• Strong expertise in manufacturing simulation using tools like DELMIA V5/ CATIA V5/ …etc.
• Experience in 3D CAD/simulation interface tools.
• Data handling and conversion techniques from native Pro-E and solid works.
• Experience on process optimization and time study of manufacturing plants.
• Exposure to six sigma, lean manufacturing and FMEA tools.
• Proven record in a technical role within an environment of innovation, technical design and manufacturing.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to act as a motivator through open dialogue.

Nice to Have

• Experience of working with global multi-cultural teams.
• Experience of being a change agent/ pro-active team member.
• Knowledge on composite techniques and products.
• Programming knowledge in CAT Script/ Visual basic/ C/ C++.
• Experience of programming in DELMIA V5 or CATIA V5.
• Experience in developing new conceptual ideas and patenting.
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD/ Factory CAD or other similar CAD tool.

Job Description

• Development of CAD/Simulation for manufacturing plant using DELMIA V5.
• Developing 3D models and assembly using CAD packages like Pro-E/ CATIA/ Solid works and others 3D tools.
• Analyze process optimization and time study of manufacturing plant.
• Designing Tooling equipment and solutions with people in projects.
• Co-creating with peer departments, clients and solution providers.
• Being accountable for a solution, its validation and its continuous development.
• Creating concepts and prototypes.
• Participating in research projects and idea generation.
• Solving technical challenges for production equipment and fast prototyping.
• Ensuring delivery of technical solutions by suppliers and strategic partners.
• Ensuring coordination and good work relationship with peer departments.
• Technical Support to related departments.
• Participation and sourcing to Blue Sky development projects.
