NSSTG is hiring new college grads!

NSSTG (Network Software and Systems Technology Group) defines, designs, develops, and delivers innovative software and systems solutions to support evolving network architectures and IT requirements, establishing the network as a platform for life’s experiences. NSSTG provides technology leadership and innovation through active participation in industry standards bodies and through close partnerships with business units across Cisco. NSSTG is responsible for development and sustenance of Cisco IOS Software, which ships on most of Cisco’s Routing and Switching product lines.

NSSTG in India is a 700+ strong team with investments mirroring the global NSSTG organization. The team is responsible for software development in number of technology areas, including Broadband Networking, L2/L3 Network Access, Technologies, Policy frame work, IP and Routing Infrastructure and Protocols, IP Routing, OS Infrastructure and Development/Test Tools. The team has end to end software lifecycle responsibilities for a number of components in technologies listed above. We are looking to hire senior technical talent to lead development activities in all these areas.

We have a scheduled event planned on Monday ( 7th Mar 11) for hiring college grads.

Criteria:
·         BE/B.Tech/MS/MTech from reputed Institute (CS, IT, ECE, EEE, Telecom)
·         Aggregate of 70% or above
·         2009 & 2010 pass outs only

Requisition: S892798 (3rd Mar will be the cutoff date for submittals)

Grade: 4

JD:
·         Candidate should have very good communication skills.
·         Good understanding of TCP/IP networking , very strong in C coding/Data Structures and OS concepts.
·         Awareness to Broadband technologies (PPP, Radius, Diameter, Policy, L2TP, VPDN, DHCP, DNS, IPSec, NAT, ACLs) will be added advantage.

Candidate will be responsible for design, developing and maintaining components for Broadband technologies which works on Edge routers.

Interview Process:
1.       Written test
2.       3 Technical interviews
3.       1 Managerial and HR interview
Pls note that college hires under G4 and G6 requisitions are not eligible for referral bonus.
