Primary Responsibilities: |
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Providing accurate and timely estimates for tasks
- Support the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by 24 by 365 basis
- Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
- Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
- Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality standards
- Work with business to prioritize production issue resolution
- Work with the Service Manager in process improvement initiatives as directed by the service.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 4.3 years of total relevant experience
- Should have executed the complete SDLC on at least one project using .net framework.
- Should have experience on asp.net, C# and SQL server
- Should have experience with some of the following technologies: Server technologies (Windows 2003, Windows 2008), Client technologies (HTML DHTML, XML, Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation, AJAX, JQuery, JSON)
- Should be able to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute).
- Significant experience in a single complex development environment or across multiple platforms.
- Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff.

- Provides team leadership in areas of specific technical knowledge that is frequently sought out by others with significant experience in a single, complex development environment or across multiple platforms.
- Support the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by 24 by 365 basis
- Identify and design most efficient and cost effective solution through research and evaluation of alternatives.
- Assist with design or enhancements of straightforward aspects of less complex systems.
- Evaluate, redesign and modify existing program logic to improve overall system performance.
- Able to conduct feasibility studies for significant new systems or expansion of current systems.
- Evaluate new enhancement request and solution to work.
- Assist in evaluating alternative protocols, tools, standards and systems investments.
- Helps to develop project cost and benefit estimates, including identification and evaluation of alternatives.
- Able to provide training and assistance on full range of technical issues to lower level staff on a project team.
- Able to act as “in charge” project leader for smaller projects or in temporary absence of project leader / manager.
- Take ownership of the assigned applications

- Should have Sound knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 , Design/model Database , performance tuning , good query writing skills , SSRS/SSAS, performance tuning etc.
- Should be able to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute).
- Significant experience in a single complex development environment or across multiple platforms.
- Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff.
- Independent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines.
- Leads others toward technical accomplishment, collaborative project team efforts and achievement of important project goals.
