About TNPL:

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was established by the Government of Tami Nadu during early eighties to produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using bagasse, a sugarcane residue, as primary raw material. The Company commenced production in the year 1984 with an initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum. Over the years, the production capacity has been increased to 2,45,000 tonnes per annum and the Company has emerged as the largest bagasse based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tones of bagasse every year. The Company is in the process of implementing the Mill Expansion Plan for increasing the capacity to 4,00,000 tonnes per annum from July 2010.

TNPL, a well known Paper Manufacturing Company with a turnover of over Rs.1000 Crore is looking for the following personnel for its Mills at Kagithapuram in Karur District, Tamil Nadu.

Manager (Purchase): 1 Post
Pay: Rs. 21500-600-27500
Qualification : Candidates should possess B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. MBA / PG Diploma in Materials Management is preferred.
Age : Minimum 38 years as on 01/01/2010
Experience : Minimum 15 years of post qualification experience in a manufacturing organisation, preferably in a process industry. Candidates should be conversant with Contracts finalization and exposure to overall Purchase activities. Experience in computerised environment and ERP is
essential.

Deputy Manager (Purchase): 1 Post
Pay: Rs. 18000-500-23000
Qualification : Candidates should possess B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. MBA / PG Diploma in Materials Management is preferred.
Age : Minimum 35 years as on 01/01/2010
Experience : Minimum 12 years of post qualification experience in a manufacturing organisation, preferably in a process industry. Candidates should be conversant with Materials Procurement and exposure to overall Purchase activities. Experience in computerised environment and ERP is
essential.

Deputy Manager (Stores): 1 Post
Pay: Rs. 18000-500-23000
Qualification : Candidates should possess B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or a Post Graduate Degree. MBA / PG Diploma in Materials Management is preferred.
Age : Minimum 35 years as on 01/01/2010
Experience : Minimum 12 years of post qualification experience in a manufacturing organisation, preferably in a process industry with in depth knowledge in the areas of Inventory & Planning and overall knowledge of all Stores functions. Experience in computerised environment and ERP is essential.

Assistant Field Officer: 2 Posts
Pay: Rs. 10500-250-13000
Qualification : M.Sc., (Agriculture/Forestry) from a recognized University.
Age : Maximum as on 01/01/2010.
SC – 35 years
Experience : Minimum 2 years working experience in Forest Plantation. Candidates will be responsible for procurement of pulp wood from various Government agencies and open market and transportation of the same to Factory at Kagithapuram. Candidates should have experience in liaison with overnment and Bank Officials to ensure regular supply of pulp wood from various Forest Divisions.
