About LNIPE :
The Institute was established by Govt. of India as National College of Physical Education in 17th August 1957, the centenary year of the War of Independence, and located at Gwalior, where Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, a valiant heroine of the war, had laid her life.
The Institute was named after her as a tribute to her role in the glorious freedom struggle. The main purpose of establishing this institute was to up – grade the status of physical education by offering degree and post-graduate course for the first time in the country. Bachelor’s degree programme was started in 1957 and a two year Master’s Degree course was introduced in 1963. In 1980 it became the first institution in India to offer one year degree programme of Master of Philosophy in Physical Education.
Applications in prescribed form are invited from the eligible Indian Nationals for the following posts:
Professor in Computer Application in Sports: 01 Post
Pay band: PB-4 + AGP Rs. 10000/-
i. Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks, or an equivalent Grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F at the Master’s level in Computer Science from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
ii. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. in Computer Sciences or equivalent published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of publish work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research / policy papers in 3 indexed / ISBN/ISSN numberedjournals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books.
iii. A minimum of 12 years of teaching experience in university/college , and/or experience in research at the University/National Level institutions, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
iv. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – medicated teaching learning process.
v. A satisfactory score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) system
Associate Professors at pay band of PB-4 + AGP Rs. 9000/- in the following subjects:
Exercise Physiology: 01 Post
Health Education: 01 Post (Medical Doctor & Teaching Duties-Entitled to NPA also)
College Librarian: 01 Post
Pay Band: PB-3 + AGP Rs. 6000/-
Junior Hindi Translator: 01 Post Pay Band: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2800/-
Supervisor (Grounds): 01 Post Pay Band: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2800/-
Essential: (i) Bachelor degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognized University/ Institute.
(ii) Three years experience in Horticulture, Maintenance of Grounds and gardens in Supervisory capacity.
Desirable: i) Master Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture.
ii) Experience of different sports playfields Arts & Crafts maintenance.
English Stenographer: 02 Posts Pay Band: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400/-
Essential: (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(ii) English Shorthand speed @80 WPM and English typing speed. @40WPM.
Desirable: Computer knowledge and working.
Note : Physically handicapped candidates with the following disability can apply against this post reserved for PH quota:-
(a) Physical Disability – OH (OL) – OH – Orthopaedically Handicapped, OL – One leg affected.
(b) Only Orthopaedically Handicapped candidates who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability are eligible.
