QuEST is conducting Walk-in interviews on Sunday, 4^th July 2010 for experienced Manufacturing Engineers (Generic ME / Fixture Design / Inspection Planning / CNC/ CMM / Metallurgy) in Bangalore. The resumes can be sent to nirmala.prusty@quest-global.com

Requirement Details: 
1.    Generic ME
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Production)
Required Skillsets:
·      Good understanding of Manufacturing & toolingand Machined component engineering
·      Very good knowledge of engineering drawing-to-manufacturing drawing interpretation
·      Good knowledge of GD&T interpretation & self-review capability
·      Good knowledge of shop floor in component manufacturing. Aero domain preferred
·      Proficient manufacturing engineering. Hands on experience in turned and milled parts. Multi axis and multi spindle
·      Very good inspection methods & Gauging concepts – selection and usage.
·      Good knowledge of aero materials & non machining process
·      Process planning for precision machined components – Aero components preferred


2.    Fixture Design
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Production)
Required Skillsets:
·      Hands on Design, manufacture of fixture – mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic fixtures.
·      Well versed with all fixtures and tooling components – quick change elements.
·      Hands on experience in fixture / tooling prove out, fixture validation and approval.
·      Very good manufacturability of fixture components – process experience.
·      Proficient manufacturing engineering. Hands on experience in turned and milled parts. Multi axis and multi spindle
·      Good knowledge of GD&T interpretation & self review capability. 
·      Good knowledge of shop floor in component manufacturing. Aero domain preferred.


3.    Inspection Planning
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Production)
Required Skillsets:
·      Method of measurements / gauging / selection and usage
·      Inspection planning -  to the latest Aero standards preferred
·      SPC – statistical process control - Data analysis, process control, process improvements
·      Critical feature analysis – CCF management
·      CMM / bench inspection report analysis. Read and interpret reports and deviations in measured value
·      Gauge R&R, Hands on experience in performing R&R study
·      Hands on experience in Minitab, Fair knowledge of Measure link.
·      Problem solving techniques - Should have demonstrated problem solving cases by using any 7QC techniques.
·      Experience in FAIR / LAIR Documentation - Aero domain preferred.
·      Very strong in GD&T and drawing interpretation - Like Profile tollerancing.


4.    CNC
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Production)
Required Skill sets:
·      Well experienced in Nx Manufacturing in Multi axis programming - Experience in offline programming and program prove out on machine / prototyping of new products.
·      Understanding of programming strategy, Controls ability to develop post processor.
·      Hands on experience in using program Simulation / verification software's.
·      Experience in Super alloys machining in aerospace critical component application. Selection of cutting tools and cutting parameters
·      Experience in handling advanced machine tools - Multi axis, multi spindle & Multi turret


5.    CMM
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Production)
Required Skillsets:
·      Very strong Hands on programming knowledge in MCOSMOS, CARL ZYIEZE
·      Well exposure to latest CMM machines, probes and probe holders
·      Have programmed parts with complex features on them.  And prove out of the same.
·      Well experienced in offline programming - Deciding the programming strategy, Touch trigger method and Scanning method.
·      Critical feature analysis – CCF management
·      SPC – statistical process control - Data analysis, process control, process improvements
·      Very strong in GD&T and drawing interpretation - Like Profile tolleracncing.
·      Hands on experience in Minitab, Fair knowledge of Measure link.


6.    Metallurgy


Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Chemical, Metallurgy, Material Science)


Required Skillsets:
·      Proficient manufacturing engineering. Hands on experience in turned and milled parts. Multi axis and multi spindle
·      Good hands on experience in detailing of engineering components & manufacturing engineering drawings. 
·      Hands on experience in UG Modeling and detailing in PLM environment. Exposure to Team centre is highly preferred.
·      Good understanding of Manufacturing & tooling. Machined component engineering. 
·      Good knowledge of GD&T interpretation & self review capability. 
·      Good knowledge of shop floor in component manufacturing. Aero domain preferred.
·      Very good inspection methods & Gauging concepts – selection and usage.
·      Good knowledge of aero materials & non machining process. Strong in metallurgy – material selections (aero materials), material behavior under various machining, machinability of different materials, various heat treatment process
·      Experience with Special processes
·      Laboratory work experience



Generic Requirements:
1.     Experience: 3 to 9 years for all requirements
2.     Candidates should be available / willing to travel onsite as required
3.     Candidates to be dressed in Business Formals

4.     Software skills
·      Working knowledge of CAD packages; Unigraphics preferred
·      Working knowledge of MS Office tools especially Report writing/general documentation

5.     Soft Skills/ Personality traits:
·      Good communication and interpersonal skills
·      Customer orientated behavior
·      Attention to detail
·      Should be self-driven
·      Good problem solving abilities
·      Good planning skills
