Job Summary Description:
The incumbent will provide support to the NCR IT Enterprise Services Software Engineering team and will be responsible for global application development, implementation, and tier 3 support of the Enterprise Services (ES) program. This organization partners with global and local business partners from the Worldwide Customer Services (WCS) organization to architect world class, end-to-end IT solutions spanning functional areas such as incident creation, entitlement, remote support, call management, field operations, and parts logistics. This CMM Level 3 organization also works closely with other IT Services organizations to perform global systems integration with ERP systems, other Service related systems, and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
NCR’s Service Delivery environment will be a single global instance of Oracle Release 12. The application footprint includes the following Oracle CRM modules: Teleservice, Field Service, iSupport, Advanced Scheduler, Mobile Field Service, Spares Management, Depot Repair, Advanced Inbound Telephony, Email Center, and existing Service Logistics modules (Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Bill of Material, Work in Process, Purchasing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets).
Location : India Development Center, Gurgaon, India.
Education Requirements:
BS/BA in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree or business related degree with some technical background.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Work closely with the WCS Logistics and Corporate Controller divisions to drive out financial business requirements. Provide leadership in defining financial processes and solutioning gaps.
- Work closely with other IT organizations (ERP, SLS) to define and implement a unified financial multi-org legal entity structure, one that is consistent with the ERP 11.5.10 structure.
- Define financial conversions between Oracle 11.5.9 (SLS) and Enterprise Services ( Oracle R12) and interfaces between Enterprise Services ( Oracle R12) and ERP (Oracle 11.5.10). Define financial transactions (revenue, material/COGS, labor, expense) generated within ES and map these transactions to the appropriate ledgers in ERP.
- Define and document financial reporting requirements (ie. revenue, costs, warranty accounting).
- Define, document, and administer financial setups/profiles with Oracle applications.
- Conduct testing, perform financial tie-outs, and deliver training.
- Maintain interlock and consistency between ES and ERP financials.
- Minimum 2 years experience on Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA).
- Deep knowledge of Oracle multi-org structure (legal entity, set of books, operating units, inventory org)
- Strong understanding of accounting flow generated by business transactions spawned within Oracle applications (OM, INV, PO, AP, AR, FA, FS).
