1 . Principal Engineer (2 positions) : Req. No : 879418 & 879419
Function and Scope of the Position
The person would be working in McAfee product engineering group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle ownership of Application development.
- Provide input for technical documentation (e.g. design documents, specifications, test plans) to communicate with other team members cross functionally and cross geographically
- Accurately identify, enumerate, and estimate work tasks for project scheduling.
- Collaborate with QA to identify and remedy software defects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering in Computer Science from recognized Indian/foreign Universities.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 8-10 year Software development experience using C, C++, VC++, Win32 , COM, Multithreading
- Familiar with full application development lifecycle for commercial software products.
- Strong Object-Oriented background.
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Familiarity with SCRUM Agile development methodology
- Knowledge of any version management tool such as SVN, ClearCase etc.
2. Software Development Engineer ( 2 positions) : Req. No: 879577
About the Role:
This position is for a Software Development Engineer for the McAfee Consumer Web Engineering API team. The candidate will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of various projects executed by the consumer web engineering team on the consumer e-Commerce system and various internal systems and back-end processes. Candidate should have excellent technical skills. Candidate should have experience in building highly scalable and performing systems that serve a large user base.
Primary Responsibilities
· Strong Object Oriented Programming principles. Thorough understanding and practicing SOLID principles.
· Ability to understand the existing system and support maintenance activities when assigned.
· Participate in code reviews and provide and accept reviews.
· Candidate must have a good analytical skills
· Analyze all the solution options in a given project, and ability to identify the ease to maintain / high performance solutions and implement.
Experience:
· 3-4 years of experience in developing .NET applications
Qualifications & Skill Sets required for the role:
· Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering/Master Degree in Computer Applications
· Highly proficient in .Net: C# 4.0, ASP.Net, XML, SQL Server 2008
· Must have in-depth working knowledge of debugging in .Net environment
· Must have the passion to work with technology and complex systems
· Experience in analysing requirements, able to understand impact on existing systems and come up with a all encompassing solution
· Candidate must have good written and verbal communications skills and must be a strong team player.
· Candidate must have a good understanding of coding best practices and standards

The person would be working in the Consumer Group for McAfee Total Protection Products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- SDLC & STLC understanding
- Utilize innovative test technologies to develop a product's testing strategy
- Participating in design and code inspections
- Execution of assigned testing tasks.
- Identification and reporting of product defects.
- Writes clear and complete defect reports including all required information, and details required for reproduction.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of QA experience
- Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science
Competencies / Skill sets required for the role:
- Must to have
- Fluency in C/C++
- Experience in writing testing frameworks
- Experience of various White Box testing technique
- Very good analytical, testing & technical skills
- Strong in Windows Concepts like
i. Different file system
ii. Imaging
iii. Services & Process
iv. OS installation & partitioning
- Good in Networking concepts (basics)
- Experience in QTP or some scripting knowledge

Competencies / Skill sets required for the role:
· At least 2 to 3+ years of experience on Black Box Manual testing. Should be hands on in manual testing, writing test specifications and other test artifacts as well.
· Experienced and hands on in designing and developing independently automation frameworks using Test Complete for Web based plug-in applications for different Browsers eg IE,FF and Chrome
· Convert the existing Manual test cases to relevant automated test cases
· Ability to maintain and renew the test frameworks and test cases as and when required.
