Job Responsibilities: |
- Providing L2 & L3 Support in the Production Environment
- Adherence to all SSS (formerly OM) service operation & transition processes like Problem Management,
Incident Management, Change Management and Release Entry Framework
- Updating of HPSD with resolution data, root cause. Timely updating of HPSD
- Analyzing issues related to Application Support
- Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings
- Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes
- Should be a self starter and able to work independently with minimum handholding
- Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor
- Review work and deliverables with reporting supervisor
- Participate in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases,
provide inputs for decision making
- Conduct / Own root cause analysis on all incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
- Identify and propose application performance & process improvement initiatives
- Independent communication with business partners to resolve issues and negotiate project related items
such as priorities and completion deadlines

Desired Skills: |
- Must possess good knowledge of Java , J2ee , Struts , Hibernate
- Must possess good knowledge of JSP, Servlet & Custom Tag libraries
- Sound knowledge of Oracle & SQL , Unix
- Experience in XML, XSD development
- Should be comfortable working with SVN, ANT, WAS & RAD
- Expert in writing JUnit Test Cases
- Good Communication Skills & prior experience of healthcare and / or OM env is preferred
- Should be flexible working in Shifts
- 1.5 – 3 years of relevant Work Experience
