Description

The Self Service Management team is responsible for creating multiple web portal applications to assist in the management of self service devices.  Application focus on: Inventory Management, Software Distribution, Device Management, Help Desk Workflows…  Applicant will contribute to the development of Web/Application Servers on the JBoss, Tomcat, etc. platforms.

Basic Qualifications

• Should be strong in Object Oriented analysis and design using Spring framework

• Experience in development of Web/Application Servers: JBoss, Tomcat…

• Experience in development of Adobe Flex-driven user interfaces

• Experience with relational databases and data mining/OLAP

• Evaluates complex situations using multiple sources of information

• Proficient in automated unit test development practices and design methodologies

• Develops and applies:

o Basic programming/engineering skills in 2 or more relevant languages or methodologies

o Testing and debugging principles

o Knowledge of one area of system architecture, product module, or assembly/test module

• Assists with development and testing of a particular module or assembly/test process based on detailed design documents

• Tests and releases a small fix, process change or corrective action to improve quality, yield or manufacturing cycle time

Soft skills

• Should have excellent written and oral communication skills

• Should have professional attitude

• Willing to work on a geographically distributed team

Education and Background

• 2 - 4 years of related experience out of which at least 1 year should be in Java.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Experience in web services and Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL experience added advantage

• Experience with Hibernate also an added advantage

• Experience with Java-related technologies such as JMS, JTA, etc. is an added advantage

• Experience with VB6 and .NET is an added advantage.
