ClientManager SGOS Developer

Job Description	Working in a Linux development environment targeted at the BlueCoat ProxySG, you will develop and support features for the ProxyClient ClientManager, working in tandem with the ProxyClient team and ProxySG team worldwide. You will be responsible for the entire ProxyClient ClientManager feature set, including HTTP(S), CLI, and OAM functions ( configuration, statistics, reporting , troubleshooting). Support TAC in resolving customer issues which are escalated to R&D. Work with Product Management to define features and resolve customer issues.

Linux OS Developer and Integrator

Job Description	Design/develop/maintain the foundation layer for Blue Coat Management applications. This entails working on a stock Linux kernel, streamlining a selected Linux distribution according to product requirements, and hardening the OS. This also includes design and development of the common application layer used by the Management products as well as the build system for the product.
Required Skills	Solid foundation in the Linux operating system. Any experience with Linux internals is a plus. Experience with Fedora Core 2 or higher preferred. Experience with CentOS 5 preferred. Experience with Koji preferred, RPM skills a must. Should be proficient with Ant. Python, Perl, or Ruby scripting experience Knowledge of the XMPP protocol a plus Solid general programming skills. Job Description	Maintain software for Blue Coat’s RA Gateway appliance. This entails maintaining a legacy system that is hardened for placement in the DMZ, which provides SOCKS/SSL access tunnels and user session management with High Availability. Work with system platform (PISA), management console (MC) and client developers on APIs.
Required Skills	Solid understanding of IP routing, TCP and UDP protocols, and experience with debugging facilities for these protocols on a Linux host. Good understanding of proxies. Solid experience with a Linux development environment using C, GCC, and GDB. Good understanding of system resource usage/debugging on a Linux platform. Web Security UI Developer

Job Description	You will develop and support user interfaces and server side features configuring, administrating and maintaining aspects of BlueCoat security products (ProxyRA, ProxySG, ProxyClient). You will work closely with the ProxyClient team and ProxySG team worldwide. You will be responsible for the customer facing graphical user interfaces and internal components. You will work with various other groups in the organization, supporting TAC in resolving customer issues, Product Management to define features and requirements, as well as QA and other associated engineering groups.
Required Skills	Strong client-side Java (Swing) Server-side Java programming experience UI and Presentation layer skills, web development skills (Java Servlet model, HTML, JavaScript, Velocity) desirable. Familiarity with Tomcat and the Java technology stack is required. Relational database skills (relational schema design, SQL programming) are a requirement. Hibernate is a plus.
