Cognos Lead (Job Code : 100075D)
· 6+ years of relevant DW/BI Experience (at least 4+ in IBM Cognos Suite of tools)
· Knowledge within Cognos 8 must include exposure to all of the following:
o Developed Scorecards (candidate will have used Cognos Metrics Studio involved in a Metrics Studio setup and deployment)
o Dashboards
o Event Management (Event Studio)
o Reporting and Analysis (advanced development ability using Report Studio and Analysis Studio)
o Work with Cognos 8 BI Metrics Studio environment to manage the client's balanced scorecard requirements
o Cognos Planning (FPM /Controller )
· Working experience with a balanced scorecard implementation
· Responsible for developing framework model, reports, dashboards, and data access to support various initiatives from different sources.
· Good knowledge of SQL
· Participated in all phases of full life-cycle development, working independently or with other team members and client representatives to analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and document system requirements based on business objectives.
· Develop and document BI Tool-set standards, guidelines and best practices and work closely with architects, data modelers and DBA to address data gaps.
· Should serve as a lead reporting technical resource and support all reporting activities throughout the development life cycle and make appropriate recommendations on enhancements to Business Intelligence System.
· Knowledge in infrastructure architecture planning and documentation of best practices for multiple Cognos reporting environments.
· Ability to work closely with senior level business managers to derive requirements.
Cognos Developer (Job Code : 100075F)
· 3+ years of relevant DW/BI Experience (at least 4+ in IBM Cognos Suite of tools such as Cognos Report Studio/Analysis Studio and Framework Manager)
· The COGNOS Developer should have knowledge of data segregation, data visualization and ETL process, OLAP design knowledge, multiple databases, Understanding existing model and client requirements and Creating Framework Model and creating Packages as per the user requirements.
· Good knowledge of SQL
· Working experience in development, testing and implementation of a complex project module.
· Should have worked on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts & principles and should be a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning & execution responsibilities.
Openings for Datastage Lead & Developer

· 6+ years of relevant DW/BI Experience (at least 4+ in using ETL and OLAP tools like Information Server/ Infosphere DataStage 8.1/7.5.2/ IBM Infosphere suite 8.1/DataStage 7.5.2)
· Extensive knowledge on DataStage Designer, DataStage Director, DataStage Manager and DataStage Administrator.
· Experience in leading a DataStage development environment.
· Experience with implementing DataStage in a cluster environment across multiple nodes
· Experience in Performance tuning of Datastage jobs
· Good understanding of IBM Suite (QualityStage, Information Analyzer)
· Handled a team size of 5-10 and experience in client interaction on a daily/weekly basis
· Strong in SQL
· Experience in all Testing Phases: Unit testing, Integration Testing,Regression testing, Performance, Acceptance testing.
· Experience in working with RDBMS like, ORACLE, SQL Server, DB2 etc
· Experience in using DataStage version control to promote the jobs.
· Knowledge across all aspects of Workflow-documenting business processes, analyzing processes, recommending improvements.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new environments and learn new technologies.
· Communicate status and necessary information to Project Manager for inclusion in weekly status reports
Datastage Developer (Job Code : 10007IF)
· 3+ years of relevant DW/BI Experience in using ETL and OLAP tools like Information Server/ Infosphere DataStage 8.1/7.5.2/ IBM Infosphere suite 8.1/DataStage 7.5.2)
· Analyzing technical requirements, and developing DataStage ETL jobs within a data warehouse environment to fulfill those requirements
· Strong in writing SQL queries
· Performing technical and functional testing of DataStage jobs
· Providing production support of DataStage jobs
· Adhering to established processes and standards for development, documentation, and testing
· Experience in Quality Stage would be preferable
· Good communication skills
