Avaya UC - L2 / L3 / Transition Engineer / Architects
- Relevant Exp.: 3 yrs min - 12 yrs max.
- Knowledge on IP extension RAS messages and trace commands on PBX for RAS messages.
- Understanding of PBX Server Platforms like S8300, S8400, S8500, S8700, S8800 and AURA.
- (Server Models, IP Port networks, Media Gateways and IP Cards) troubleshooting methods and techniques.
- Understanding of IPSI, CLAN and MEDPRO functionalities and troubleshooting methods and techniques.
- Working knowledge of Troubleshooting IP trunks on H.323 and SIP protocols.
- Working knowledge of IP soft phones in various modes like Telecommuter & road warrior.
- Working knowledge of firmware updates on IP-Cards of PBX..
- Complete understanding of AVAYA CM software releases and updates.
- Understanding of system architecture , design . Thorough understanding of product implementation and integration to various adjuncts and collaboration technologies. (Only for Architect roles)
- Understanding of AVAYA Licenses on server and there capabilities, AVAYA Licensing methods and policies, AVAYA system wide parameters and third party adjunct integrations with CM

- Extensive knowledge/experience with Cisco Voice over IP systems and components including IPCC, CCM, SIP/XML Gateways, Gatekeepers, Unity voice mail & Call recording systems
- Understanding of Cisco Contact Center installation and upgrade procedure including the License migration/upgrade procedures.
